PE and Sports Premium
Since September 2013 schools have been receiving extra funding for Physical Education via Sports pupil premium. At Hampton Infant School and Nursery this will be used in a variety of ways to enhance sport at our school. It is our belief that Physical Education is crucial in the development of children’s ability to perform a range of fine and gross motor skills, as well as maintaining healthy bodies and minds. To this extent we feel that P.E. is equally as important as the ‘core’ subjects. Therefore, we intend to further improve the competence and confidence of our staff in the delivery of high quality Physical Education across the school.
