Year 3 had a fantastic visit to Kingston Mosque as part of their RE learning. During the visit, the children enjoyed trying on traditional clothing, writing their names in Arabic, exploring a range of fascinating artefacts and learning all about how the mosque operates. One of the highlights of the day was watching some of our children confidently demonstrate a prayer, which was a wonderful experience. We were incredibly proud of how well-behaved, respectful and engaged the children were throughout the visit. The trip has provided a valuable foundation for our final RE topic on Islam and we are excited to continue our learning back in the classroom.
