Phil Corbett Author Visit

We were thrilled to welcome author and illustrator Phil Corbett into school for an exciting and laughter-filled visit! Our UKS2 pupils had the fantastic opportunity to meet the creator of Ghost and Toast and discover more about the inspiration behind his work.

Phil gave the children an insight into the world of writing and illustrating, sharing how he brings his characters and stories to life. The children were captivated by his storytelling and enjoyed finding out more about the creative process behind his books.

Noah P 6K said "The Phil Corbett author visit was really fun and interactive and I really enjoyed the book."

Seb M 6K said "The author visit was so fun we got to draw the characters and got a sneak peak of some of the pictures. As well as that, I got the book and he signed it. It was great!"

Saorise 5F said "Jamie Smart is correct, kids will absolutely love this book! I have read Ghost and Toast 4 times already."

Joseph 5F said "Meeting Phil Corebett was really fun and interesting. We got to see his drawings in live action."

A huge thank you to Phil for such an engaging and memorable visit. We hope it has inspired lots of our pupils to pick up a book, put pencil to paper and perhaps even create their own brilliant stories!
