Celebrating Earth Day

We recently celebrated Earth Day across the school with a range of exciting activities. Classes took part in a special BBC Live Lesson and completed follow-up activities linked to caring for our planet. Children worked creatively in groups, pairs or independently to share their ideas using different forms of media.  We were extremely impressed with the enthusiasm and thoughtful work produced throughout the school. We also held an Earth Day competition, with each class selecting an entry to represent them. The following classes were the overall winners: 3T, 4K, 5CL and 6B. Their presentations have been filmed and will be presented to the rest of the school.
