E-Safety Assembly - February 2025

This week we welcomed OpenView Education in to speak to us about internet safety before we celebrated Internet Safety Day on Tuesday. In our assembly we met a puppet named Philip who took us on a journey to internet land where we met different characters who felt worried or sad about their experiences on the internet. We discussed how it is important to always use kind words online, remember to keep our personal information private and to always tell a trusted adult when we feel worried or sad. We loved meeting Philip and also learnt an Internet Safety Spell to help us remember how to stay safe online. We have been reminding each other throughout the week how to stay safe and follow our own SMART rules in school.
